Terms of Service

RECITALS:

1. SERVICES:

1.1 Description of Services: Placenta encapsulation services

NuHealth Placenta, LLC. agrees to provide the following services to the customer: 

a. Placenta encapsulation

 

1.2 Scope of Services: NuHealth Placenta, LLC. shall perform the services with the degree of care, skill, and judgment that is customarily exercised by qualified placenta encapsulation professionals.

2. FEES AND PAYMENT:

 

2.1 Fees: The customer agrees to pay NuHealth Placenta the fees associated with the provided services in addition to any taxes or fees that may be applicable at any time. The customer acknowledges that an initial deposit of $100 is due prior to the placenta collection in order to provide services. The deposit will be non-refundable at any time and will go towards the customer’s full balance. Payment plan options are available upon request of the customer. 

 

2.2 Payment Terms: The customer acknowledges that an initial deposit of $100 is due to NuHealth Placenta prior to their placenta collection in order to provide services. The deposit will be non-refundable at any time and will go towards the customer’s full balance. The remaining balance for services will be due once the capsules are complete. An invoice will be resent to the customer and must be paid in full in order to receive the completed capsules. Payment plan options are available upon request of the customer. or as otherwise agreed upon by both parties. 

 

Payment and signed contract executed this agreement.

3. SAFETY, CONSENT, AND PERSONAL INFORMATION: 

 

3.1 Informed Consent: The customer acknowledges that they have been informed about the risks, benefits, and alternatives of the placenta encapsulation services and consents to the service. 

 

3.2 Health and Safety: The customer affirms that they have not received a diagnosis of, and are not currently suffering from any of the following medical conditions: • HIV • AIDS • Hepatitis A • Hepatitis B • Hepatitis C • Ebola  *To prioritize both your well-being and the safety of our team members, we regret that we cannot provide placenta encapsulation services if you have a history of any of the aforementioned bloodborne diseases.

4. LIABILITY, INSURANCE, AND DISCLAIMER:

 

4.1 Liability: NuHealth Placenta and its representatives shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or adverse outcome that arises as a result of the consumption of your placenta capsules, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 

 

4.2 Disclaimer: I want to emphasize that I do not hold a medical license, and I am not authorized to make diagnoses, provide treatments, prevent ailments, or offer medical prescriptions. The services provided by NuHealth Placenta exclusively involve the preparation and encapsulation of your placenta, and do not encompass the sale of placenta pills. It's essential to understand that no specific outcomes or effects are guaranteed, as individual experiences may differ. While many of the potential benefits are substantiated by evidence-based research, it's crucial to note that none of these claims have been evaluated or endorsed by the FDA.

 

4.2 Insurance: Clients are responsible for any costs not covered by their insurance, and it is the Patient's responsibility to confirm coverage for the medical services.

5. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY:

 

5.1 Responsibility: It is the customers' responsibility to engage in a dialogue with their medical provider or birthing facility regarding placenta release policies. Following the delivery, it is crucial to keep the placenta at room temperature for 4-5 hours and subsequently store it by either placing it on ice, refrigerating it, or freezing it. Failure to adhere to proper storage procedures will impede the placenta encapsulation process.

 

5.2 Customer Responsibility: It is your duty to inform NuHealth Placenta, LLC. and its representatives when you go into labor and promptly after the birth to arrange the transfer of your placenta from yourself, the customer, to NuHealth Placenta, LLC. or its representatives, the service provider. In the event of a non-response from our birth line, please persistently seek contact until you receive a response. Improper handling of placentas can lead to spoilage, and all placenta-related procedures are undertaken at your own risk. Please acknowledge that the consumption of placenta in any form has not undergone testing or received approval from the FDA, and I assume this risk voluntarily. Moreover, I release NuHealth Placenta, LLC. and its representatives from any liability.

6.SHIPPING & RETURN INFO:

6.1 Refunds cannot be processed after encapsulation: Any payments made after your placenta has been received will not be eligible for a refund should services no longer be needed. If services are no longer needed before the receipt of the placenta any payments made after the deposit will be refunded in full. The initial $100 deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your refund. It can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.  In order to be eligible for your refund, please notify us via email info@nuhealthplacenta.com or message us directly at (213)245-1497.

 

6.2 Shipping & Refund Policy: We are NOT responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged packages, this includes any mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service that is purchased from shipping agents, including, but not limited to UPS, USPS and Fedex, along with your order from us. Shipping expenses are included in your final invoice (NO additional shipping charges will be added). 

Refunds: We will refund you the full amount if your package is lost due to shipping. If you have received the shipping kit, and decide not to proceed with encapsulation, you will be charged a $100 fee for shipping & handling, any additional payments after this will be refunded in full once the shipment kit has been received by our shipping department.

Non-returnable/non-refundable items: Your placenta pills cannot be accepted as a refund due to the unique nature of our services. If you have any questions, please email us at info@nuhealthplacenta.com or message us at (213)245-1497.

Waiver: Our failure to exercise or enforce any right granted by these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right. It does not prevent us from exercising or enforcing it at any subsequent time.

 

6.3 Amendments to Terms & Conditions: We retain the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Such changes will be effective upon posting on the Website. It is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions each time you use the Website, and your continued use indicates your acceptance of the latest terms and conditions.
